Kroger Community Rewards

Remember, you must re-register Pack 966 with your Kroger card every year!

 

 

As members and friends of Westerville Cub Scout Pack 966 you can now help support the pack when you shop at Kroger through the Kroger Community Rewards Program.

Kroger is donating $1.25 million each quarter to registered nonprofit organizations including Pack 966. Once you register, each time you shop at Kroger your support of Pack 966 will be tracked automatically through your Kroger Plus Card. A percentage of all qualifying purchases will be paid by Kroger to the pack under your name. This is an easy and free way for our families and friends to help support and grow Pack 966!  If you have questions, please visit our FAQ page.

 

Please note that Kroger has reserved the right to modify the Community Rewards program at any time and our participation and all of the policies and procedures defined in this document and the FAQ section are dependent on their terms and conditions. Pack 966 will be evaluating this program closely and looking for opportunities to streamline and enhance the program in order to provide the most benefit to our scouts. Please contact our Cubmaster or attend one of our scheduled committee meetings with any concerns or suggestions about the program. We look forward to your feedback.

 Please follow the steps below to sign-up online.  Don't forget to create a My Scout Account to have funds go directly to your scout.

Steps 1 & 2. Get your card and Sign In.

  1. Have your Kroger Plus Card handy and type www.krogercommunityrewards.com into your browser. Note: If you do not have a Kroger Plus Card, registration is free and available at the Customer Service desk inside any Kroger store or go to this web site. Note: If you normally use your phone number at the register, you can call 877-576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus Card number. 

  1. From the home page, select “Sign in/Register”. 

Step 3. Create an online account.

 

If you are already have on online account created with Kroger, sign in using your email address and password. You may then skip ahead to Step 5. Most people will need to click on “Sign up today!” under the New Customer? section on the right side of the screen and create an account using the instructions from Step

Step 4a. Find a store in your area.

Find your preferred store by entering your zip code and then clicking the “find” button. 

Step 4b. Select your preferred store.

 

Click the word “Select” next to your preferred store location. 

When your selection is completed successfully, the next screen will show the store address and phone numbers above the Zip Code Find button.

Note: You can still use your Kroger Plus Card to earn rewards at any participating Kroger location. The preferred store selection is for Kroger informational purposes only.

Step 4c. Enter your Email and Password.

 

Just below the preferred store box, please enter your email address and a password that you will use to access your account. Re-enter your password in the Confirm Password field and then click the “confirm” button.

Note: You may choose to opt in to the various email subscriptions options now or you can choose to enroll later by updating your account settings.

Step 4d. Confrim Settings

Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the empty checkbox and clicking the “confirm” button.

Kroger is now sending an email to the email address you provided so that you can confirm your email address and complete your account set up. This may take up to 10 minutes.

Step 4e. Follow the link in the email from Kroger

After you receive the email from Kroger, open it and either click on the link or copy and paste it into your browser.  Below is a sample email.  The red text is what you would copy but everyone's email will be slightly different so be sure to copy the text out of the email you recieve and not this page.

You have completed your account setup and you may now sign in to your account using your email address and password.
 

Step 5. Login and go to My Account.

After signing in to your account, select the “My Account” option.

Step 6. Edit Community Rewards Program Information

 

Under the Community Rewards Information section at the bottom of your screen, click “Edit Community Rewards Program Information”. 

 You may be asked to enter your address.  The only required fields are your first and last name.

Step 7. Enter your Card Number

Type in your 12 digit Kroger Plus Card number and click on the “save changes” button.

Step 8. Find Pack 966.

 

Find our organization by either entering our Kroger NPO number (84626) or our name (Westerville Cub Scout Pack 966) into the box under 1. Find Your Organization and then clicking the “search” button.

Step 9. Select Pack 966.

Select our organization by clicking the empty circle next to “WESTERVILLE CUB SCOUT PACK 966” and then click the “save changes” button.

Step 10. Check for success.

 

When your selection has completed successfully, you will see our organization name, number and the enrollment date under the Community Rewards Information section of your “My Account” page. 

Congratulations you are now registered! Don’t forget to use your Kroger Plus Card every time you make a purchase at Kroger.

Your qualifying purchases will begin earning rewards for our pack within 7 to 10 business days of registering your Kroger Plus Card online. At that time, you will see at the bottom of your Kroger receipt “At your request, Kroger is donating to WESTERVILLE CUB SCOUT PACK 966”.

Note that you can earn rewards on almost everything, every time you shop! However, there are specific purchases that are not eligible for rewards including alcohol, tobacco, government-assisted pharmacy expenses, postage stamps, Kroger gift cards and Green Dot Prepaid Cards, gift certificates, bottle deposits, lottery and promotional tickets, fuel, fuel center purchases, office services and Sales Tax. Eligible pharmacy purchases include out of pocket co-pays for non-government assisted pharmacy programs.

Step 11. Create a My Scout Account with the Pack

 

To have 80% of the funds donated from your Kroger Plus card go directly to your Scout, please submit the form pictured below which will be available at all pack meetings or click here to register online.  Note that a scout can have multiple Kroger Plus Card numbers tied to his My SCOUT ACCOUNT. If you have extended family members or friends that have a separate Kroger Plus Card number, you will need to fill out an Account Setup Form for each different Kroger Plus Card.
