Other FAQs to put on the web site.

What is snow tubing?

To describe the park a bit, a snow tubing lane consists of a groomed center surface with snow banks on each side, running from top to bottom. You'll slide and glide your way down these snowy chutes and then back to the conveyor lift for another ride to the top (No walking back up the hill). The park will have a vertical drop of 100 feet across the first 500 feet of slope and end with a mellow 600 feet of run-out to slow each tuber from their high-speed downhill tubing adventure.

Are there any age limits or other restrictions?

  • There are NO Age or Height restrictions
  • Adult supervision is required
  • The minimum age for tubing participation is at the discretion of the parent or guardian.
  • All riders regardless of age or size, must ride on their own tube. Kid tubes are smaller and the best combination for linking with adult tubes to take your little one.
  • It is not uncommon for even two to three year old kids to enjoy a day in the park!

How much does a snow tubing ticket cost?

We will be taking part in the "Will Tube for Food" fund raiser so Get one FREE Snow Tubing Ticket when you purchase one of the same ($22) and donate a non-perishable food item. Each snow tubing ticket includes the use of a snow tube, tube lanes, and snow tube lift.

If your scout (or you) is interested in the trip, please fill out the form below AND complete, print, and sign the attached permission slip AND Snow Trails Waiver Form. We'll need to make sure we have a permission slip and emergency info for any scout that goes on the trip.  Completing the Waiver ahead of time will speed up the entry process.  Parents are welcome, of course.  Siblings as well if a parent is coming.

The weather: An email will be sent out on Thursday afternoon if we are canceling the trip because of rain. Please remember that the weather in Mansfield may be different than the weather in Westerville. Not only is it 50 miles away it is also on of the coldest areas in the state.

Please click on the Snow Trails Winter Resort link here or at the top of the page for more info about the park.
